Jean Cazals is an award winning photographer with a rich history of collaboration with multinational brands, agencies and individuals through interiors, portraiture, food & travel and hospitality clients.
His ability to deliver and see beyond the ordinary for every client has won Jean praise and awards for many years. Guided by original ideas, Jean has worked hand-in-hand with the world of food and hospitality, where he has enjoyed his most celebrated work.
While most of Jean work is conceptually driven, he carries out many projects on location, enabling him to capture the hidden personality behind the brands he has helped champion for many years. Jean uses a distinctive graphic approach, a strong sense of colour and styling with a sharp eye for details to create bespoke and though-provoking images through the stills and motion that are his creative approach to everything.
Jean work has also graced the pages of magazines worldwide and he has shot over 80 books with numerous top world chefs. He is an ambassador for ‘Capture One’ photographic software, a three-times winner of the ‘Pink Lady Best Food Photographer of the Year’ award and has been shortlisted as well for a number of photography awards worldwide, including the ‘James Beard Awards’. Some of his portraits are part of the National Portrait Gallery collection in London. He has held few solo exhibitions of his work in London and France.
As an author Jean was awarded the ‘Gourmand Best Dessert’ Cookbook, UK 2013 for his ‘Tea Time’. Jean latest book ‘Inside Marrakesh’ showcase beautiful selected private interiors in the red city.
Jean continues to work as a consultant on new projects, books and publication ideas. Jean expertise in the field allow him to help and create a vision for his clients.
